Welcome to our school web page. I hope you enjoy your visit. Conneaut Lake Elementary School is home to many special people; students, teachers and educational support staff in a great community.
Academically, we use our textbooks, computers and other instructional materials to meet the goals of our curriculum and the state standards. Educational field trips and guest speakers help us to "see knowledge in action". Some students in our school participate in Enrichment. The Enrichment classroom is in our building and students from other attendance areas come here for expanded knowledge and experiences.
Our school adopts numerous charitable projects throughout the year to benefit our world and our community. Character Education plays a part in our instruction and everyday experiences. Students are recognized each month as Positive Persons, chosen because they exemplify a specific Heartwood Attribute. Be sure to visit the Guidance site to learn more about Heartwood and many other services.
Our PTO is very active and affords us many opportunities by funding field trips, equipment, assemblies and special activities. Students and staff are becoming familiar with our Fitness Room as we strive for both healthy bodies and healthy minds. Our school has two courtyards and a nature trail. Pride Center is held after school with many students finding the extra assistance with homework very helpful.
Our school community works hard at citizenship.
